DAChamber Delegation Visits Senate of the Dominican Republic

As part of the “Guided Tours” program of the Senate of the Dominican Republic, four US-based entrepreneurs, members of the Dominican American Chamber of Commerce in New York, had the opportunity to learn about the operations and facilities of this legislative body. The delegation was received by Senate staff and took a tour of the National Congress, where they were briefed on the Senate’s role as the First Power of the State and the functions of the legislators.

The group visited emblematic places such as the Gallery of Former Senate Presidents and the National Assembly Hall. One of the entrepreneurs, Luis Ciriaco, expressed gratitude for the hospitality and shared his connection to the Dominican Republic despite living in New York.

The “Guided Tours” program aims to allow visitors to learn about the history and operations of the Senate of the Republic. Any institution or citizen interested in visiting the Senate can request a guided tour through the website senadord.gob.do.
